BLBCA SEEKS THE ULTIMATE BACKCOUNTRY PURIST

British Columbia, Canada – The Backcountry Lodges of British Columbia Association (BLBCA) is pleased to announce the second annual Backcountry Purist Contest. The BLBCA is seeking four ultimate Backcountry Purists; skiers/snowboarders who deserve a fully guided and catered ski/snowboard week at one of four participating backcountry lodges of BC.

"Following the success of last year's contest, we are thrilled to be running the Contest for a second year with new and improved terms and conditions that allow a larger demographic to participate. By reducing the amount of creative necessary for entries and making the prize a week long stay at one of the lodges, we are sure that even more enthusiasts will be able to play this year," said Naheed Henderson, BLBCA's marketing director. About the Contest:

• the Contest opens November 1, 2012 with monthly winners chosen for Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb.
• each monthly winner will receive a week of guided and catered skiing at one of the participating lodges
• the Contest is open to all who, at the time of entry, are eighteen (18) years of age or older
