Alta, Utah - Winslow Passey, lead guide for Utah Mountain Adventures, is bringing a yoga and skiing retreat to Alta from March 3-7, 2010. The retreat combines yoga instruction with both resort and backcountry ski outings. Participants will learn about and use the principles of body alignment and self awareness taught in yoga and then integrate them into skiing. Mt. Crested Butte, Colo. - Today Crested Butte Mountain Resort (CBMR) filed an appeal with the U.S. Forest Service disputing the agency's decision last month to reject the resort's proposed expansion onto Snodgrass Mountain without conducting a public review under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
